Default My favorite forum

I joined this forum months after buying my first ever Yamaha. This is still my favorite forum.
The moderators are riding Can Ams now and I have no idea who the administrator is.
It's not the most active forum, but I have always gotten great information from everyone. It is well worth all the money I have contributed.
I miss hearing from some of the "old timers" ( Starkey, Rob, OkieGrizz).
I have never gotten flamed on here as I have on other forums.
Everyone is helpful and considerate.
Thanks to all here for allowing this sentimental post, I must be getting emotional in my old age

i don't think we have any mod's anymore Timmi, but i also don't think we have enough traffic to need one.
would love to hear from some of the old members too!

Default Thanks, Cayne

I guess Rob is long gone.
I check this site often, I just don't post much.

I'll go kick Gunny and see if he's awake...

I've been coming here since 2006 and it's always felt like home.. without the "Shut up and eat what's in front of you!" anyway...

Well Timmi ... this is the first forum I ever joined & it has been a great one too.

But like you wrote, I changed my brand of bike because Yamaha didn't offer the type of machine I wanted after I retired. What can I say ...

But for overall looks & dependability, the Grizz is hard to beat.

Just wish Yamaha had a two-up machine with a little bigger motor ....

Yeah, I'm a moderator ... but I do feel like that position ought to be given to someone who visits here more often & and actually owns a Grizzly ... guess now that I know of an Admin guy (Cayne) ... I'll pm him & see if he can do the switch !

...

I may be considered an "old timer" here, not sure, I did my share of posting here back in the day. I kinda found a new home when this site went on hiatus for a while. I still love all the peeps here and it's kind of like going to your favorite hometown bar that you haven't been to since you left home 20 years ago,you walk back in and all the same smiling faces are still here. I still ride a Grizz, just not the blue one any more, lol.

This was the first site I found... yeah, it's pretty dead compared to others. But it's nice too, kinda quiet and relaxed. I'd hate to see it disappear.
