Unhappy clutch not releasing

ok guys another problem the clutch is not releasing on my grizz i pulled the cover off took a look at things and dont see a problem there. however i can not turn the shaft in either direction i think it may be the one way bearing, just wanting your oppinion on it before i go buy one.

also how much grease should be in the outer half of the sheeve with the rollers. thanks Chad

I would pull it apart and take a look inside before you buy anything. You should be able to spin the shaft counterclockwise, if you try to spin it clockwise it should try to turn the engine over. Does the clutch shaft spin when you crank the engine over? If not the bearing (#19 OEM Parts Yamaha GRIZZLY 660 (YFM660FS) 2004 CRANKCASE - Cheap Cycle Parts) may be siezed. Either way, you'll probably end up taking off the wet clutch cover. Drain the engine oil and pull off the wet clutch housing cover with the shaft sticking out of it (# 14 OEM Parts Yamaha GRIZZLY 660 (YFM660FS) 2004 CRANKCASE - Cheap Cycle Parts). If everything looks okay in there it might have something to do with the one-way bearing. It may be possible that one of the springs in the centrifugal clutch (#2 OEM Parts Yamaha GRIZZLY 660 (YFM660FS) 2004 CLUTCH - Cheap Cycle Parts) broke and lodged itself in there so the shoe(s) can't retract all the way and is/are being held out against the clutch housing (#1 OEM Parts Yamaha GRIZZLY 660 (YFM660FS) 2004 CLUTCH - Cheap Cycle Parts) . Or, another member on here (don't remember who) had a problem with the nut on the end of the crankshaft (#8 OEM Parts Yamaha GRIZZLY 660 (YFM660FS) 2004 CLUTCH - Cheap Cycle Parts) backing off into the clutch housing (#1 above) locking the drum to the crankshaft. Let us know what you find!

Trying to get the wet clutch cover off now I don't know I'd the bell is worn bad or if the clutch has come apart but having a time getting the cover and shaft off. Before I started removing the cover if you tried to turn the shaft in either direction it would try and spin the motor, after I took the bolts out of the cover and it got some play in it (still won't come off) the shaft will rotate counter clock wise. Any ideas on getting the cover off?
