Default New member: Got oil in my belt housing :-(

Hey yall... SHort and simple,

I think oil in the belt housing is probably not good :-)

It's saturated the bottom from front to back. Reckon what would cause this?

You ROCK! Exactly what it was... Actually hard telling, it seems the Gasket behind the cover on the Wet clutch was shot... Also seems the seal was bad... So wither way you got me there! -)

Ok... New problem! Picture attached...Cant get the oil seal out. Reverted to digging with screw driver... :-( Manual says "dig" it out... I cant get it to budge, just chipping off little pieces of plastic at a time not getting anywhere and may damage bearings below?

What the heck is up with it? Reckon it ran so loaw on oil it got hot and burned itself to the shaft basicaly? I dont know. Maybe it's pressed in but the manual does not say it is?

Sooooooo, Can you tell me how to get the dang thing out? I'm bout ready to throw it out the window :-)

do u have a slide hammer if so use it, if not take a smallest drill bit u have and just drill a hole in the seal, dont push hard so u dont go in too far, then screw a screw in the hole and use that to pull or pry the seal out, ive done it before, i also have a cheep slide hammer, do the same thing drill a hole and put a screw in the hole with an adpter that goes on the hammer, they come out easy or the screw just pulls out then do it all again at some point the seal will be weakened enough that it will come out or u can get something in there to pop it out
