C.G.,

The Garmin Nuvi 200 uses the City Navigator NT maps (totally different from the regular City Navigator mapset). They are preloaded and I doubt that you can really have much flexibilty in loading the Topo maps into that model.

You can check to make sure as I am not totally familiar with your GPS model. I'll do some checking with a buddy of mine who sells GPS units and see what you can do with yours...

Just checked the Garmin website for the Nuvi 200 and when I check the maps tab, there are no Topo maps offered.

Just for your info....

I saw them for $112 but I am not certain if they are worth the money. Also I am wondering how good the information is in these topo maps.

I'm more than satisfied with the ram mount. This product exceeds it's promise of a secure, sturdy way to attach a gps. I highly recommend this product!

I did like you Timmi after I bought the new GPS (also same model as yours) ... and those RAM mounts are awesome. I've bought several others & use them to mount cameras, etc,to the bike as well.

I don't have a current photo to show the GPS mounted, however, it's mounted a lot like Timmi's ...

Later ....

Yea I like it there where I can see it. It blocks the gauge pod somewhat but it's safe there. I could lower it but that plastic panel is in the way, whatever it's there for I dunno. Makes a good place for my switch!
