Default Ordered 2R Exhaust Tip

Thanks for the suggestions all. I got on their site (thanks Hammer) and ordered the exhaust tip. From what I've read should produce less pop and more throat. Don't believe theres much of a pony boost. Hope its not louder. Will post pics once its installed on the grizz.

I know that the 2" tips on the 660s takes away the wheezing, sniffling sound of the stock setup. I'ts throatier... a liitle bit louder than stock, but my Missus never noticed it, and she don't miss much!

Give Hammer a break; He's got a Missus to blame him for everything... including the stuff that IS his fault! If you need, blame me 'cause after all these years, I just KNOW that it's my fault somehow; My Missus can explain it!

Well the cameras dead, but got the 2R tip on. Grizz is definetly more throaty (more bottom-end audio). Sounds more like an engine should sound was the first thing I thought of. The thing I don't like is its louder than stock. If I had to guess, I'd say 4 or 5db louder. So I need to figure out how to get quieter. Has anyone had any experience with the Benz Silent Rider system?

Hammer, don't worry, you're off the hook. I like the tip. Its high quality and fast and easy to install on the grizz but where I ride along neighbors borders, I gotta stay low key. Theres not alot of good press hereabouts for atvrs due to a few. I also don't like not hearing well while in the woods and hunting, savvy!? (who said that?) If I'm trail-ridin and/or stump jumpin, then I wanna hear the grizz grunt and growl.

Hope that helps with the difference in sound Bob. An audio level meter would be nice for measuring the difference in db.
