Greetings from the great state of Idaho. I have been browsing the site for a few days looking for someone who might be having the same problems that I am.
I bought a '98 grizzly 600 4x4 last summer for $1200. I had (well, still have) a '02 Big Bear 400 prior to this, but the former owner had butchered the wiring so bad, I kinda just put it off to the side. The front brakes had also been removed and the 4x4 knuckles were trashed, but it ran.
My current Grizzly has about 10k miles on it, but a freshly rebuilt engine.
I'm gonna be 55 this summer, and am disabled, so this is my feet for getting around the 80 acres we raise sheep on.
I was a heavy equipment mechanic for 35 years until my feet started giving me trouble (diabetes). I just finished classes for my certificate in IT when I had to have half of my foot amputated.
My wife of 30+ years and I are now semi-retired and enjoy camping, boating, ATVing in the woods.
I am hoping to learn some tips and tricks for keeping my ATV running and supplying us with some fun in the sun.
