axle bearing

I have an 01 grizzly 600 that needs a new axle rear left outside axle bearing and seal. Is it much of a job for a do it yourselfer?

Hey Hermster ,, its not hard at all ,, take ur axle out and get a bar with an notch( or hook) on the end and put the notched end inside the bearing hole and pull out on it,(like a slide hammer)--(might want to wear gloves as u will have to pull out many times hitting the bearing,,can get a little hard of the hands) - with the notched end catching the bearing and it should pop out ,, THAN take a long bar and put it in thru the axle side were u take the first bearing out and angle it so it catches the bearing and pound that one out,,,,,,,,, took me about 10- 15 mins to do ,,i had a welder so i could make my own pullers ,, well hope that helpa ya ,,
