We'll need a WHOLE lot more information in order to begin to offer up any clues...
How old is the bike?
How many miles on it?
What modifications to the fuel, exhaust and iginition systems have been done?
What exactly is the bike doing?
Is it getting fuel? (pull the plug; is it wet?)
Is it getting spark? (while the plug is out; hook it to the plugwire, ground it against the head, and hit the starter) BE CAREFUL!! This can tickle!!!

SOLD!! 2004 Grizzly: Way too many modifications to try and list them all here...

Check your vent hose on the gas cap or remove the gas cap. Could be air locked.

I take it you have a fuel injected 700. Can you hear the fuel pump running when key is cycled from off to on.
