I have a 2000 grizzly 600 just rebuilt the carb . Has issues on the cold start. Engage the choke but still not start .Manully choked with my hand
then it started . it ran fine after setting the idle .. I finished putting the filter box back on a week later . Now no start .

Thinking its a choke issue Can the cable be bad or the o ring on the end of the cable going in the carb .The choke diaphragm in the carb was good

Perhaps the choke cable slipped off inside the side of the carb or its not properly adjusted. Try flipping the choke lever then with your right hand grab the lever and pull straight up to take any slack out of the cable. When fully lifted crank it over with you left thumb and see if that does it. Happened to me when I replaced my carb and didn't notice it until the temps went down below 40. Just a thought.
