Is there a major difference (besides an inch) between 27" Mudlites and 28" Mudlites? Will I notice the additional ground clearance? Will the 28" Mudlites reduce way more power than the 27" Mudlights? Thanks for your input.
Welcome to the site Go Zags, I don't think there would be a major difference between the 2 weight wise? Why do you want to go 28"'s? You will get some serious tire rub with out a lift kit. But if you plan on doing some serious mudding then 28's would be the way to go. I wouldn't choose the Mudlite for that though? Probably mudzillas or outlaws? The Mudlite is not really a mud tire, more of a trail tire with some mudding capabilities. The reason guys go with the taller tires is only for ground clearance, unless you are going from a 26 to a 27, then the tread gets a little taller but there is no difference between a 27 and 28 as far as tread depth goes. Hope this helps......Irv
