OK guys and gals, who has the best bumper for the least money--I know you all have opinions so lets hear them. I barried my work horse the other day, and to my shegrin, a honda was used to pull me out(only because he did not dare to enter where I did) and I damaged my front bumper with my cable, so, I need to upgrade to stronger and better--which is where you come in......

Northern, If you can be patient, keep an eye on ATV Guru; our new sponsor. He's working on some designs and we've been promised something pretty darn good! Maybe you can contact him and light a fire under his butt to get things moving!
I know that there are others out there, so what is everybody else running???

hopefully it will be a complete replacement, but nobody knows.

keep your eye on ebay, i was watching a new moose bumper a few weeks ago that was at a dime, until the last few hours and eventually went to $60, but that's still half price!

I couldn't part with good old number three for ANYTHING!! Okie just flat out built the best bumper I've ever seen! Too bad that production has stopped... You guys DID build some beautiful clones though...

No bumper yet as I was foolish enough to flood my motor and now she burns like a mosquito fogger, filled my garage in about 30 sec.with smoke--ouch--need a rebuild more than a bumper. I think I'm going with a 686 piston set up..Am I right that a 727 set up requires a sleve and that also you have to have engine case machined to fit the sleeve as well?? with the 686 I am planning on putting a raptor cam in it aswell, but havent found a used on yet, and then Ill need the rockers as well so they wont wear abnormaly to.Its never ending.
Now I have to wait for my tax refund before the missus with let me drop a load on my toy.

The 102mm slug will slip into place without a problem. A +4mm stroker crank will get you to 719cc, but I'm not just sure what sort of machining is needed for that. Hillbrigger (I think!) has a 691... Stock bore with the +4 shaft, so he could tell you what was needed for that part of the deal...

No machining for the +4 crank. Was a drop in part. I've heard mixed reviews about the Hotrods cranks though. But so far, mines holding up with almost 1000 miles on it.

I didn't go high compression piston, just left the stocker in place. Most of the problems I've read about were using high comp pistons also.

(That's why I'm going with the 10:1 squeeze on my 102... hanging off the stock crank!)

How'd we get here from bumpers??????? Oh! my fault...

Maybe you should get in touch with okiegrizz to see if he's still willing to pound out a 700 bumper... Ask Timmi about them...

Bushwacker700 ya I had two of them fall of a shelf in my shop last week. I didnt even know that I had any more of them. When I can catch a warmer weekend Im going to finish them and put them up for sell on here!
It kind of sucks working at a motorcycle and atv dealership seeing some of the aftermarket junk thats out there...
