I live in Northern NJ and we go riding in the former Jungle Habitat property in West Milford and in Sterling Forest, NY. I was wondering if there were any forum members nearby that may want to get together for a ride one day?

No, but I did spend some time like 6 weeks in Freehold and Redbank. I did Fire school for the merchant marines up there. Is that close to where you are? Chuck

well, close is a relative term. I was in Red Bank the other day, but it is about an hour away. You can get anywhere in NJ in under 2 hours, but a little far to go riding probably.

How far are you from Boonton?

i just got an '05 grizzly and am in the
works on rebuilding an engine on a friend's
quad. with no snow the plow is useless and
we would like somewere new to ride. or anywere
for that matter!!

What is this Jungle Habitat? Never heard that before, is there much space there? Isn't Greenwood Lake in state land? I live just 10 miles down the parkway from Red Bank and have traveled up to Port Jervis to ride a few times which is two plus hours, so an hour for a ride is no problem. Only I don't always have my quad here with me because I own property up in PA and usually leave it up there unless I have plans for a ride or some maintenance on it. We'll have to stay in touch, I would be up for a ride.

HEre are some links. It was an old amusement park like Great Adventure's drive thru safari that was owned by Warner Bros. It closed years ago and now is just forest, ruins, and mountains. Where we ride you dont see too much of the park, but we do see some old buildings, fences, and roads.
