Has anyone ever had the hose from the top of the differentials blow diff oil out? It has beenabout 15 degrees out. The oil is dripping on the engine. I checked the levels in both front and rear they are right on.

I think its normal and I slightly moved my hose over so it would drip away from the engine. My 2001 Kodiak would do the same thing but Yamaha routed the hose into the airbox so the oil would drip in there instead of all over the engine. It's been deep freeze conditions here as well and I know if I was to run the machine it would drip some gear oil from being so thick and it needs somewhere to expand off into, thus the drip occurs. You can call Yamaha Service and ask them and I am sure they will tell you the same. Welcome to the site ALLBLUE.
