nope not a drop
If it were me I would take it to a mechanic. I'm one of those guys that has a coffee can full of extra nuts and bolts from fixing things myself.
My 06 leaks in the same spot just a very small amount. I plan having the dealer look at it when they do the valve adj. this week.

Tindy, I don't want to scare you but......

That is the sign that your axles are popping out, it means the Circlip for the CV joint is working loose!!

part numbers for the upgraded replacement clips is 5km-2536e-10

do a search on axie, axle and popping on this site.

This happened to me 4 times and many times to Bonez5 and others!

Yamaha should repair under warranty! they did mine more than 6 months after my warranty was over!!
Beast thanks for the heads up, It's going into the dealer next week. I will give them the upgraded clip part number.

Thanks again
tindy, keep us informed as to what your dealer said!!
Beast you hit this one right on the head, The clip had to be replaced. Tech at the dealer said he never seen this happen to a 05.........Thanks again
tindy, I am glad you caught it in time and did not get stuck out on the trail! Glad to have been of help!
