Santa got me that 05 Limited Grizz, (thanks babe, lol)This is one sweet machine. I'm virtually a virgin at this ATV stuff. Aside from 125 miles spent on a Kodiac in Moosehead Mn last October. It was there I fell in love.
Got back to Georgia and started looking. You gents on this forum had a lot to do with my choice. By the way, I'm gona be in need of that link for an "05" service manual, can Someone help me out?
I've got a sea wall to build next month at the lake so the Grizz will see some work time haulin lumber. I assure you I will find time to play. This Jacks no dull boy.

Merry Christmas to all
And God Bless America

Hey Marine, As you know .....new machine ...new add-ons. I've been following the threads in and around rim/tire combos. I'm realy liking your set-up. How rough are those mudlites on the hardpack, and how damaging to turf? I know I'll have to run across the yard now and then....lol. I aint got no yard boy but me......Scott

Congrats 05 Black Grizz! I haven't seen the black color yet so if you could please post some pics soon. Add-ons are the best part of the whole expirience although it can get costly. lol.. Mudlites ride great on hardpack and they are a good first add-on along with a winch.

You must have been a very good boy for "Santa" to bring you such an awesome present! Welcome to the site..

The units sharp, metal flake finish type. I'm thinking those C-5s would cement it...

Got her with the 2500lb wench and reciever hitch. I'm thinking this Grizzly is up to more than I am....LOL

MERRY CHRISTMAS

The mudlits are great on hardpack!! I drive mine onto my yard to wash it after a hard ride and my yard hasn't gotten torn up by the treads (but dont turn really sharp or they will with the posi-traction rear).

The C-series T-5's are AWESOME, they give that extra "bling" to the ride and also give it a wider stance (more stable in off camber situations).

I agree with blue that it "pimp's" out your ride. The first time I rode my grizzly with the new tires (at a lakebed) I had more than 5 people actually stop and look at my bike! (people around here only ride honda and so I stick out a little LOL). Honestly, I like being the different one as when I go through mud holes with 'er locked up and in low people are amazed that I can literely crawl through mud holes that they get stuck in on their rubicons with the SRA hehe

Here is a photo of my sister-in-law with a rubicon sitting on 27" blackwaters (this is on a trail in the mtn's I ride in all the time)

Marine,

I"ve got a place on Lake Martin, I'm thinking thats only a couple of hours from you. I believe the Taladaga trails are about mid way. Sounds like we need to plan a ride and hook up. Just an idea to kick around. Maybe early spring, I've got to replace my seawall befor I can play too much (need to keep santa happy).

Blue_grizzly, I assure you that my dad was never on any TV show LOL...

Xtremegrizzly, NO WAY in any form do I miss that bike. Personally, I think the grizzly rides better, and my wife thinks its easier to steer!

05BlackGrizz, I am not familiar wih Lake Martin or the Taladaga Trails. I ride mostly in Tennessee on Carter and Keith Springs Mtn's. That is where those photos are from.

I am really wanting to go to Coal Creek (up near chattanoga TN) and ride. My wife said that when I graduate in May that we can go! IF ANYONE wants to get a ride toegher sometime in May let me know. I am planning on going (not sure of date yet) for about 2-3 days worth of riding. If interested let me know and we can try to work out the details...It would be awesome to have the guys from here get to meet face to face and actually play on trails!!! woot woot!
