Has anyone else had their headlamps vibrate loose or fall out? both of mine have melted the solder and then the spring loaded contact pushed them into the lens cup. I put them back together and ran a solid bead of solder around them. It has held so far but I haven't had a long nightride to test them thoroughly. If they fail I might get the piaa replacements. any thoughts?

I've heard about headlight problems but never seen them firsthand. My late '02 Grizzly has never had this problem, and I've used the lights a lot.

Wish I could be more help... but it does sound like you were able to fix yours, which is good! :)

DukeBoy I have not had a problem of vibration taking out my headlights
on my 2002 Grizz, but I have had a tree top impale my light assembly.
Thank goodness for JB weld.It happened over a year ago and it is still holding.

I also had the solder melt on the headlights on my 2003 grizz.According to my local dealer the problem is caused by a short in the dimmer switch. If this switch is set halfway between bright and dim they overheat causing them to come unsoldered. This really sucks when both fall out at the same time in the dark!Hit him up for a replacement as both mine and my buddies grizz had this problem.
