Are you talking about the heated grips. If so, I got a set for X-mas that are just installed under a normal set of grips. I used them this weekend, and they rock. The low setting was all that I needed..

I finally got around to installing 'em today. They aren't as huge as I had thought, not once I compared them to the stock grips. They are a bit bigger around, but not bad at all.

These things are well worth the $40 I paid at Cabelas. They use good-quality connectors and are very easy to install. The sealed switch with handlebar mount is really slick too!

Highly recommended.

These look like a nice idea. JIMBO... the kit you gave a link to... are they sturdy? They look like they may break easily? For a $10 difference, I may go with the know Cabela's product.

If anyone has info on which is better let us know.

Try the KIMPEX brand. I have a set. They are not to large and they have a full dial control. Anywhere from off, all the way up to full and anywhere in between. If you buy heated grips, I would also recommend a heated thumb warmer because you really fell the differance once your hands are warm and your thumb is not.
