just wanted to check with others....owners manual calls for 2 ltr cap with oil filter change yet this amount does not show on dip indicator.

When I changed my oil I put in two quarts of oil. When I checked it, it was real close to the full mark.

My advise would be to check everything over again(ie..drain bolt) make sure maybe you did not spill enough to give you that reading and then slowly pour little at a time untill it starts showing on the stick and go from there,IMO.

04 Grizz manual calls for 2.1 qts for oil and filter change, dealer did the first change and put in 2.6 qts, way over full, earlier ones must have had more capacity or the kid don't know how to read that changed the oil.

Mine takes more than the manual says too... up around 2.5 quarts or so.
