Just got finished installing my new Skid plate from www.prm-atv.com. All I have to say is WOW. This is one tough a$$ skid plate. It's made of .190 aluminum and with the additional front skid plate it makes the bottom of my grizz virtually indestructible. I literally ripped off the stock plastic piece of garbage. I did have to mod the front skid plate to accomodate how my winch was mounted, but it was definitely worth the dollars for the piece of mind that it will provide..

I put the full set on my griz also. Ditto to all you said above. I had to cut a peice out for my roller farrel also and thats some tough aluminum. I had prm on my warrior also and it's the only thing that saved me from major damage on the rubicon. Bryan

What winch are you guys using? I have the Yamaha plates on mine and it fits just fine with my old A2000 winch. I'm about to replace it with a Ramsey 3000 though.

The Yamaha skids aren't nearly as strong as the PRM ones, but I already have 'em, and they work, so no point. If I get another Grizzly (as opposed to a Rubicon), I will put PRMs on it. Heck if I get a Rubi, it'll get Ricochet skids because PRM doesn't make any for the Rubicon, darnit.

I have the Super Winch 2500lb but I did make the factory Yamaha mount wich is ment for a Warn fit mine. Not sure if that had anything to do with the fit of mine or not. Had to drill some mounting holes in the plate plus weld some bracket so I could mount my roller fairlead to.

I've got a 300lb warn winch. I spoke to the guys at the PRM shop, and they said that they have had some reports of this mod having to be done for the front to fir with a winch, but like we both agreed, they can't make a plate that will fit everyones mods 100% of the time. Still I am more than happy with plates. Now I have to work on a new bumper.....
