Well folks, I just returned from spending the last two weeks in Alabama putting in a new sea wall at the lake house. Lots of work and a good opertunity to use my new Grizz as a mule. One **** of a handy tool in deed. From demo of the old wall to hauling lumber ect. This machine it ****! Did almost every task I put it to..... Almost.. I had a pine stump the "mini excavator" couldent pick up. The base of the tree was about 28" across. wound up going almost 6' deep to brake the tap root. You cam imagine the size of the root ball. tried to drag it with the grizz...nope. Used the winch, snatch block with the grizz and the mini x togeather to get the stump out of the hole.
Sea wall compleated with a couple of days left to play... Put about 15 hours on playing in the lake bed (they drop the lake 10' every winter) and riding some local trails. Hunting season in effect untill the end of Jan. kinda limits the trails to ride.
Had a great time untill...... I let my future son-in-law take her for a spin. he is 22, good head on and some quad experiance.. The long and short, The Black Grizzly rode him down a hill. No one hurt and thats the important thing... Bent both racks and gouged up the R/H front and rear fenders pretty good.....DAM !!!
The kid felt bad, helped me bend the racks back and offered to buy new fenders. He ain't got that kind of $$$. Trust me, I'll get some labor out of this for years......lol. Now I supose I wont have to wory about all the little scratches that were bound to come with trails and mud...
