I just bought a used servo protector for my Grizzly. It is a Highlifter product. Does anyone have one of these on their Grizzly that can either send me a picture to see how it is mounted or to explain in detail how it mounts. I received no directions with the protector and I am having a hard time trying to figure it out. Thanks in advance.

I bought thr HL full package skid and it seems that the Servo Protector bolted to on to one of the skid plates. I will look tonight and see for sure. If it is something different I will post it.

The servo on the front diff. I already broke it once and it is an expensive part to replace.

Thanks Tinmandan. Looking forward to hearing from you. If it does bolt to the skid plate, I am SOL because I don't have a Highlifter skid plate. I guess I will have to modify my skid plate.

Yes but I am trying to install a "Servo Protector". Not the servo. I am already a expert at that.lol Anyway I have it figured out. It does have to attach to the skid plate and I think maybe a couple of clamps around the long piece on the side. I am going to get some stainless steel tie wraps from work tommrrow. They go on very tight and are so thin that they cannot hook anything. I will post pictures when completed.

Only once but I know 2 other guys that damaged their wires and plugs. Even though it wasn't a warrenty item( cracked servo) my dealer replaced it for free. But I just don't want to take anymore chances.

Sailorman,
I just installed a Highlifter servo cover on my grizzly and it did not bolt to the skid plate. You can use you factory skidplates still. The one I got from Highlifter comes in 2 pieces. 1 bracket peice mounts with 1/4" bolts to the frame bracket with 3 holes on it directly under the front differential. The cover for the servo mounts to that bracket with 2 5/16" bolts. If you want I can fax you a copy of the instruction.

That would be great but I don't have a fax number. Anyway that you may be able to e-mail it to me. I contacted Highlifter and they were no help at all.
