hi out there,

does anyone have a problem with the battery going dead
using the winch to raise and lower the plow blade?

i use the manual lift now and my arm hurts, but i
heard the battery can't handle it at such a slow speed.

and is there a differance with the lights on or off?

If your stator is in good shape, the battery should stay charged just fine when using the winch to raise and lower the plow. I hvent' used my plow extensively yet, but I've used it for an hour and a half straight and had no charging issues.

You might want to install a voltmeter to monitor the battery's charge status to see if it's charging well.

I plowed a bunch yesterday (2 hours+) and had no problems with it going dead either.

i worked mine about 4 or 5 hours made three hundred dollars, battery shows no sign of wear. knock on wood.

Sheesh Chuck...you beat me by a mile. I got paid with a 30 pack of beer from a neighbor thats it! Not that I'm complaing. But I would have liked 300 bucks.
