A friend of mine just sent me an email. He has a Blue 04 Grizzly that was stolen out of his barn in North Brookfield Ma. He two other quads in there one of them being a Raptor and thats all they took. Keep an eye out for an unregistered Grizz with no key in the ignition. Send me a message if you see anything. Thanks.

Yeah while I'm glad its not mine...I still feel bad for my friend. The only good thing is that he still has a Raptor to ride. :) I know thats not the point. I hope they catch them too. He said he got home and had 10 feet of tire tracks out his garage, and then nothing.

That sucks, I hate it for your buddy.

I've woriied about this issue a litte myself. I keep my Grizz in my shop at the lake (2 hours away). I"ve been looking at the start schimatics. Seems like a hidden switch shouldent be too hard. But we all know if the crooks want it about the only thing to keep it from them is you and your gun...
If the tracks stopped 10 feet out of the garage do you think they just loaded it up in a truck or trailor? If that is the case, they must have known your friend wasn't home...and if they knew that they either have been watching his patterns for some time or knew him and knew that he wouldn't be there...

I say that because my family had a simular experience with someone trying to steal from us and we found that he would wait 'till wednesday night and go slow because he knew we had 2 large dogs outside and that we weren't home...I caught him as I was sick the 2nd time he came and he didn't relize a 15 year old was in the house sick and had heard him called the police and was standing at the door with a .357 smith and wesson revolver LOL!!! when the police got there they came at me as well because I had the gun and they started cuffing me when a 3rd cop got on the scene and knew the family and told him I live there and I was ok LOL....

Anyway, tell your friend to be very scrupioulous around his friends places and watch to see if they get any "extra" money...

Sorry to hear about this, and like blue I also thought from reading the title tha it was yours and was like NO WAY he just got it!

These things are pretty easy to hot wire. Blue and I found that out installing my winch. Scared the crap out of us since the key wasn't. We both jumped about 5ft. Another guy from an ATV board told me that he was able to get his homeowners to cover it. He told them he uses the ATV around the house for plowing, hauling debris, spreading fertlizer, etc. And I agree with you Marine, someone must have been watching my friend. Which is pretty eerie in and of intself.

My friends grizzly was found in a field in Brookfield. The bike seemed fine other than the plastic and the ignition. Still sucks. I feel bad for him.

Glad to hear that your mate has got his machine back! You never know one day someone may let it slip as to who did this.....pay backs a bitch.....

Cheers Noel
Someone stole my grizz a week ago too
Sucks...Hope you find it. Was it insured?
