I went over the handle bars and then she rolled. I bent the handle bars, bent the rear rack, and dislocated my shoulder. Any one have any idea how much a new rack and handlebars will cost me? Thanks, Ben.
Dude, i am sorry but you REALLY need to start driving with more respect of your equipment...a few days after purchase you had sumerged it and filled the belt housing with water....then you say it wont go into reverse....now you have flipped it and screwed up the handlebars?? wow...If i was you I would slow down and not drive like a bat out of he*$ anymore LOL....shesh
You are absolutewly correct, except reverse works it just spudders(someone said it was the rev limiter). I don't ride like an idiot I just ride. Both incidents were actually at very slow speeds (though I do tend to ride fast at times). I already have like 175 mi in a few days. I love this machine. The best purchase I've ever made I just wish there were more places to ride. I appreciate the advise though, Ben.
Have somebody bend the rear rack flat again. Don't bother buying a new one. If the powdercoating flakes too badly, have a shop shoot it with truck bedliner (do the front while you're at it). If the bends are bad, maybe have 'em welded a little for strength.
2005 Grizz,
Mine is also new and I have had it up to 65 mph and I do believe there was more where that came from. Be carefull it is fun riding it that fast... but very dangerous.
