Valhalla Trails, Washburn, Wisc.

Up in the hills a couple miles west of Washburn, Wisconsin, is the Valhalla Multi-Use Trailhead. I've ridden the area several times in both snow and non-snow conditions. The trails are well maintained, typically sand, with a fair amount of twisting and turning. There is some terrain relief, but few major hills. There are about 100 miles of actual ATV trails in the area and probably another 200 miles of fire trails. The whole area is in the northern section of the Chequamagon National Forest. Excellent riding for beginner to advanced.
