I did the oil and filter thing about a month ago, and have put about 2 miles on the grizzly since. Only today did I look up the filter number and realized that I put a Honda CBR 929RR filter on. BTW, it's a Fram filter, cause it's cheap and available at the Walmart close to me.

It fits, which is a good thing, but the internals must somehow be different. Anybody else go down this road and have a story to tell me?

I swapped out the wrong filter for the right one. Good thing too. The wrong filter, that I had ridden maybe ~2 miles on it, was empty of oil. The check valve was keeping oil from flowing thru it.
